Goods & Clothes
Many of our clients have never been in a cold weather climate. Many of them have never had a couch, or a table and many of the children have never had toys to play with. Based on the availability of our storage, Journey's End accepts donations of the following items.
- Winter outer wear including coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots (seasonally accepted).
- Furniture including couches, tables and chairs, dressers, gently used toys, televisions and other household items.
- Welcome Kits
At this time Journey's End is not able to accept the following items: mattresses, box springs, clothes, stoves or refrigerators.
Pick-up and Drop off Information:
Winter Clothing can be dropped off at our office when pre-arranged.

Couches, upholstered chairs and kitchen table sets.
Please be aware that we are only able to complete two pick-ups per week.
Phone Calls for donations will be returned within 3 business days.
Pickups will be scheduled within 10 days of a returned phone-call.
For furniture donations:
Journey's End accepts donations of couches, tables, chairs and other household items that are in good condition. We try to provide our clients with furniture that is not stained or torn. We have limited use of the Journey's End van for pick-ups. Please give at least 2 weeks notice when trying to schedule a pick-up. Pick-ups occur primarily on Fridays, there are no pick-ups on Saturday or Sunday. If you would like to drop off a furniture donation, you may call ahead and someone will meet you at our storage space at the Shalom Zone, 520 7th St. Buffalo, NY 14201. Call 882-4963, x218.
Journey's End does not accept: large tv/entertainment centers, old computer tables, sofa beds, mattresses, box springs, head boards or bed frames, large appliances.
For clothes and small household items:
Journey's End operates a clothing ministry with our community partner, Central Park United Methodist Church at 216 Beard Ave. The church is open Monday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm. Enter church door at the corner of Beard and Wesley Aves. Ring doorbell, Shirley, the church secretary, will let you in, the Journey's End donation area is right inside the door. If you need assistance unloading your vehicle, our clients work on Mondays and Fridays from 9:15am-11:00am. You may also call ahead and someone will meet you there. All donations of clean clothes, and small household items are gratefully accepted.

Journey's End greatly appreciates financial contributions to support newly arriving refugees. However, we will not accept donations for specific individuals. All financial contributions to support new arrivals will be used to assist the most needy.
