Position Title:           Case Manager

Supervisor:                Director of Programs and Lead Case Manager

Status:                       Full-time, hourly.

Journey’s End Refugee Services, Inc. is a refugee resettlement and immigration services provider for the Western New York Region. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The Resettlement Case Manager is responsible for compliance with the R&P Cooperative Agreement as revised annually by the US State Department and its contractors.  The Resettlement Case Manager will be responsible for maintaining his/her own caseload of newly arrived refugees and seeing to the needs of these clients according to federal and local guidelines.  The Resettlement Case Manager will provide culturally competent resettlement services to a diverse group of clients including: housing, public assistance, financial literacy, and community access. The Case Manager will work with the various departments at Journey’s End to support this transition to self-sufficiency.

Qualifications:

-       Bachelors in Social Work or equivalent degree in a related field.

-       At least one year of experience working in a social services field. 

-       Experience implementing program guidelines.

-       Experience providing direct services, for example: case worker, social worker, employment counselor, etc.

-       Ability to document work through written case notes

-       A passion for resolving challenging problems and thinking outside of the box

-       Strong ability to work as a member of a team

-       License to drive and an insured vehicle

-       Fluent verbal and written English required

-       Additional languages are highly beneficial

This is a full time, hourly position.  Wages are $23,920.00 annually, with benefits.  Candidate must be able to work evening and weekends as needed.
