Greetings from Mbarara. Yesterday was a very long day traveling from the absolutely breath taking Ambosieli National Park in Kenya to Kampala in Uganda. After we arrived we were so tired that trying to send communications was nearly impossible. Hi all,

I have finally checked into the hotel in Kampala after a very long day of travel. Internet is slow and I am beat. Tomorrow I will share what I learned from IOM on Friday and my tails of adventure from this weekend.

Today was a national holiday here in Kenya celebrating their independence. All offices and businesses were closed in observance so we took off for a day of exploring. Our first stop was to a Giraffe Sanctuary outside the city that works specially with Rothschild giraffes, an endangered animal.
