Immigration Legal Services
Journey's End Immigration Legal Services is a program that offers complete legal representation at reduced fees to low income clients who need assistance with immigration matters. Our clients are refugees, asylees, parolees and immigrants from around the world who are in need of legal advice and cannot afford the services of a private law firm.
Our program has assisted more then 200 clients on an annual basis with immigration matters including naturalization, applications for permanent residency, travel documents and family reunification. We recently expanded our services to include Immigration Court representation, which includes asylum, suspension of deportation and bond hearings. Please refer to the Services Offered link for more information.
Journey's End is a §501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which is accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals ("BIA"). We have a licensed attorney and a BIA-accredited representative on staff that can offer legal advice and counsel. Amongst the agency staff, 23 languages are spoken, including Arabic, Burmese, Farsi, French, Spanish and Somali.
Journey's End hosts a free weekly clinic for refugees to provide initial intake and support for immigration legal services. Customers are received in the clinic without appointment on Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Please make sure to bring all appropriate paperwork.
