Our Staff
Jennifer L. Rizzo, Esq. is the Immigration Legal Services Director. She graduated from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2010 with a Juris Doctor degree and a concentration in International Law. Ms. Rizzo also holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ithaca College. She is admitted to practice in the courts of New York State and in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rizzo worked as a broadcast journalist for television news stations in Buffalo, Florida and Vermont. She also served as an overseas correspondent for Deutsche Welle Radio, traveling extensively around Europe and Africa. Ms. Rizzo was awarded a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship in 2006-2007. She speaks both Spanish and German.
Molly Short has served as Executive Director of Journey's End since 2008. Prior to joining Journey's End, Ms. Short established and led the Albany, NY office of U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. Earlier in her career, Ms. Short served as the Legal Services Coordinator for VIVE La Casa in Buffalo, NY.
Ms. Short has a master's in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College and bachelor's in Political Science and Urban Studies from Canisius College. Ms. Short has been a Board of Immigration Appeal certified since 2003.
