Offered in partnership with SUNY Erie Pathways to Success

Making a Connection (MAC) is an educational and employment readiness program designed specifically to address the unique needs of young refugee students ages 16-26. MAC is a High School Equivalency program that offers an alternative option to students who might not otherwise succeed in a traditional school setting. MAC helps students work towards achieving their educational, vocational and employment goals through ESL-based classroom instruction.

Instruction is provided according to students’ interests, learning styles, English language abilities and personal goals. Our partnership with SUNY Erie Pathways to Success provides students with the opportunity to transition smoothly into SUNY Erie upon graduation.
