STEP 1: SUBMIT a volunteer application

You may download the application here or submit an online application.

If downloading the application, please email it or mail it to our office.

You can also bring it with you to your orientation session.

All prospective volunteers must attend a regularly scheduled volunteer orientation.

Orientations take place twice a month at Journey's End in the Tri-Main Center at 2495 Main Street, Suite 530.

Please park in the rear lot on Halbert Street and enter the Tri-Main Center entrance on Halbert Street. (Halbert Street can be accessed from Jewett or Rodney). Once you enter, take the elevator to the fifth floor. Our office is located on your left..

Please arrive promptly, as the sessions start on time. Orientations take approximately 1.5 hours.

If you have not already submitted it, please bring your completed application, along with your driver’s license or photo ID (if you don’t drive), and your current car insurance card (we will need to make a photocopy of it). We run security checks on all volunteers who have direct contact with out clients.

Orientation Dates are listed within the registration form below, but are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at either 9am or 6pm.

To register for an orientation, please click here to complete the online registration form.

STEP 3: Volunteer!

Once the orientation and background check procedures are complete, each volunteer will then have the opportunity to select opportunities from our list of various volunteer opportunities.

Once you begin volunteering you become a part of our large Journey's End family, which means you will be an integral part of helping our newest neighbors to succeed in their new life in Buffalo.

Volunteers provide quality services for our clients and agency, and Journey’s End provides quality support for volunteers because of the many important tasks they. Thank you in advance for considering volunteering your time and talent at Journey’s End.

We couldn't do the work we do without volunteers!
